Guided private tour of Sri Lanka
Our overall tour was arranged through Insights 2 India with 2 weeks in India and 2 weeks in Sri Lanka. We were met at Colombo Airport by Imran and taken to our overnight hotel, Vivanta Colombo. The tour started formally next morning with a drive to Habarana. Ultimately we visited Kandy, Nuwara Eliya, Ella, Yala and Bentota before departing fom Colombo. Roads were in good shape and less crowded than India, and that was a relief. Imran's vehicle was a mid sized Toyota station wagon. It was neat and tidy with plenty of room for our luggage. Imran's driving was very good and he certainly knew the dimensions of the vehicle. We managed to move safely on both county and city roads without any issues. Where necessary Imran arranged local guides with specialist knowledge to guide us. Otherwise his own local knowledge was brilliant. Imran was also able to get us into and see the Galle cricket ground and also the Singahalese Sport Club to see where test cricket is played. We would highly recommend Imran if visiting Sri Lanka.
