Sri Lanka 2-week tour with Wasi
We had a great 14-day round trip in Sri Lanka with driver and guide Wasi! As a family with two teenage boys, Wasi did an excellent job in tapping into our family holiday pace and preferences. We shared the basic itinerary that we made ourselves upfront (hotels booked and few must-sees). Wasi organised everything else for us and came up with additional great trips/stops/activities where it made sense. He is a great driver and we felt entirely safe and relaxed in the car. He's also a walking Wikipedia for Sri Lanka and knows loads of people and places, which is very helpful. As a result, we could entirely enjoy the country and family time. We had a plan agreed in advance, but we decided to change it and it was no problem, he was very flexible. Always exelent arrangements, accomodation very well picked. His driving skills are great. We had a wonderful time in Sri lanka and our trip planner Wasi Tour was wonderful to work with. Everyone there was friendly and welcoming. The accommodations were deluxe and the food was excellent. We had a such a good time , enjoyed Jeep Safari , visited waterfall, hiking , train ride and much much more fun . All was organised by Wasi very well , highly recommend.

Flawless service, Wasi and his brother Suresh really went the extra mile to accomodate our requests. All in all we were extremely happy and would recommend Wasi's service to anyone who wants to have a great time in Sri Lanka. We usually travel with wife by flying to other country, hiring a car and driving around. This time, after reading about Sri Lanka's roads and traffic we decided to hire a driver. We were a bit afraid while choosing a driver, because we were staying in Sri Lanka for two weeks, which means, that we would be spending a lot of time driving around. (It would be terrible if you wouldn't like your driver... ). It was probably the best choice to hire Wasi. He has a good character, he is punctual, dependable, friendly, organized, has a good common sense, drives safely and is a great companion. We had a list of places we want to visit before trip. Wasi made a plan how it's best to see all the places. He took care of planing each day and calling the hotels before arrival. (We've only needed to get out of our hotel at arranged time and indulge in the journey). Also we've liked that he left space for me and my wife to spend some time alone together. If you are looking for a driver in Sri Lanka, Wasi is a perfect choice.

It has been three years since I went to Sri Lanka for trip in 2016. I was so lucky to have Wasi in this eight-day journey. He arranged a small circle round trip and took care everything including my toothbrush:) I was so excited to listen to the traditional culture shared by Wasi when drove along Galle, Mirissa, Nuwara Eliya, Kandy and colombo. In the week, we took the train from Elle to Nano-oya. And spent one day on Horton plains National Park. And also still impressed by his faith as Buddhist when we visited the temple in Kandy. Firstly, do yourself a favour, & book your trip to Sri Lanka with Wasi. I promise you won’t regret it. We came across Wasi by chance when we were staying at an Air BnB in Unawatuna. We were so impressed by his calm, kind and happy nature, we changed our holiday plans and booked a tour with Wasi, especially as such a reasonable cost! Wasi took us to all the local places and also some tourist destinations we requested. All the hotels and places to stay and eat that he recommended were just delightful. We are much richer people for the experience Wasi gave to us, and we felt so SAFE in his car, and his driving was very good. If we holiday in Sri Lanka again or if I meet anyone wanting to go, I would mention to book a trip with Wasi. He is honest, reliable and so informative. Especially as a British couple, who know no Sri Lankan. If you try to go yourself, it is so easy to get ripped off or scammed. We were lucky to have Wasana as our driver when we visited Sri Lanka in 2016. He arranged our trip and we travelled with him the two weeks we were there. 2 Week Road Trip

AMAZING just Amazing
One of the coolest experiances in my life. In 5 days touring the island with Wasi, I stood in a savana field at night surrounded by fireflies in the north, then into a desert climate at a lake with wild elephants playing in the water in the east, then touring ruins in the jungle, went to the highest peak which had a gorgeous misty lake village in the middle, and then surfed 8foot waves in a beach community in the south. I was blown away how every day the ecosystem changed and the beauty grew. Along the way I saw historic ruins, hiked cliffs to temples and ruins, saw the Sri Lanka fishermen, surfed, saw wild elphants...but of all that playing with baby turtles (2inchs big in my hands) and playing with baby elephants for what felt like hours at the elephant orphanage and then with the big elephants in the river. Where speachless movement in my life bbn I will never forget and i incourge everyone to experiance this if they can. Now to Wasi, by the time I left, Wasi was a friend not a driver, to the extant that 6 years later I'm still in contact with him. He is one of the kindest, genuinally friendly people you'll meet.…

We only planned to have a driver for one day but (en route to destination 1) we decided to “upgrade” to a driver for 12 days. Although a big expense relative to food/ accommodation we decided it was very reasonably priced and would provide many benefits (1. Ability to travel quickly and hence visit more places, 2. Ability to leave & arrive whenever suited us rather than depending on train/ bus time-tables, 3. Ability to stop at interesting places en route to key destinations, 4. Option to leave large rucksacks in car when we completed short hikes/ temple visits etc. 5. Not having to waste time on travel logistics – as we booked last minute and had not been organised on transport/ route planning! 6. Travelling in comfort and escaping heat with air conditioning). We were extremely happy with our decision to hire Wasi as a driver - he is interesting, kind, generous (i.e. he bought a delicious cake to celebrate my Birthday J / tissues for when I got sick K ), patient and funny – and we were genuinely really sad to say goodbye at the Airport as felt like we were leaving a friend.…

We changed our itinerary many times ,and he was happy to help us in whatever way he could! He has helped us so much along the way, suggesting things to see and do, organizing a variety of experiences for us and guiding us so that we could fully understand the Sri Lankan culture. We spent 8 days with Wasi and it was one of the best things of the trip. He is really polite, flexible, friendly and professional. He has a lot of contacts and if there is any problem, he is resourceful in finding a solution. an impressive friend in life
It has been three years since I went to Sri Lanka for trip in 2016. I was so lucky to have Wasi in this eight-day journey. He arranged a small circle round trip and took care everything including my toothbrush:) I was so excited to listen to the traditional culture shared by Wasi when drove along Galle, Mirissa, Nuwara Eliya, Kandy and colombo. In the week, we took the train from Elle to Nano-oya. And spent one day on Horton plains National Park. And also still impressed by his faith as Buddhist when we visited the temple in Kandy. He told me Wasi means ‘hope’, that’s why I’d prefer to call him;) During the awesome trip, really appreciate for Wasi’s kindness. And we still keep in touch till now. Incredible lifetime experience!!
Firstly, do yourself a favour, & book your trip to Sri Lanka with Wasi. I promise you won’t regret it. We came across Wasi by chance when we were staying at an Air BnB in Unawatuna. We were so impressed by his calm, kind and happy nature, we changed our holiday plans and booked a tour with Wasi, especially as such a reasonable cost! Wasi took us to all the local places and also some tourist destinations we requested. All the hotels and places to stay and eat that he recommended were just delightful. We are much richer people for the experience Wasi gave to us, and we felt so SAFE in his car, and his driving was very good. If we holiday in Sri Lanka again or if I meet anyone wanting to go, I would mention to book a trip with Wasi. He is honest, reliable and so informative. Especially as a British couple, who know no Sri Lankan. If you try to go yourself, it is so easy to get ripped off or scammed. Wasi made sure we always had fair prices to pay and had a wonderful unforgettable time. We love Wasi & the family & friends he introduced us to aswell. The curd he kindly bought us from the side of the road, is still one of my favourite things I have ever eaten!…
A great experience!
We were lucky to have Wasana as our driver when we visited Sri Lanka in 2016. He arranged our trip and we travelled with him the two weeks we were there. We got to see all of the great sights like Nuwara Eliya, Sigiriya, Unawatuna, Galle and Kandy. Wasana was very friendly and told us everything about the Sri Lankean culture. 2 Week Road Trip
From the recommendation of a friend who had toured with Wasi many years ago, my friend and i hired Wasi for our 2 week trip to Sri Lanka. He provided tour guide and driving services for our entire trip. We could not have been happier to spend our time with Wasi and he was professional, kind and fun. i HIGHLY recommend a tour with Wasi!!
AMAZING just Amazing
One of the coolest experiances in my life. In 5 days touring the island with Wasi, I stood in a savana field at night surrounded by fireflies in the north, then into a desert climate at a lake with wild elephants playing in the water in the east, then touring ruins in the jungle, went to the highest peak which had a gorgeous misty lake village in the middle, and then surfed 8foot waves in a beach community in the south. I was blown away how every day the ecosystem changed and the beauty grew. Along the way I saw historic ruins, hiked cliffs to temples and ruins, saw the Sri Lanka fishermen, surfed, saw wild elphants...but of all that playing with baby turtles (2inchs big in my hands) and playing with baby elephants for what felt like hours at the elephant orphanage and then with the big elephants in the river. Where speachless movement in my life bbn I will never forget and i incourge everyone to experiance this if they can. Now to Wasi, by the time I left, Wasi was a friend not a driver, to the extant that 6 years later I'm still in contact with him. He is one of the kindest, genuinally friendly people you'll meet.…

We visited Sri Lanka in year 2018 with our whole family. During our visits we had the privileged to get to know Wasi. He was a great driver. Always showed us the best places to go which was a great asset during our short visit. We highly value his enthusiasm and patience. The best tour guide in Sri Lanka !!!
Me and my wife went to Sri Lanka on our honeymoon. We met with Wasi at the airport and from there he took us to the most amazing tour of our lives ! He made a 9 day itinerary for us with top of the line hotels, amazing sites to see, national parks,local culture, nature, temples and lots of other attractions. He took care of our every need: transport, accommodation, food and most of all always took care that we are having a good time and experiencing Sri Lanka with all it has to offer. I highly recommend him as a tour guide ! We couldn't ask for a more perfect honeymoon and we owe it all to him for arranging everything. We visited Sri Lanka some years ago and were lucky to have Wasana as our chauffeur. He is a good driver and a gentle person that can give you much information about landscape, places to go and the people in Sri Lanka. He always suggests nice tours and remarkable sightseeing. He is a kind person that also want to tell you about his family and daily life in Sri Lanka. He is listening to you and gives some great recommendations. Highly recommended experience - A*
We only planned to have a driver for one day but (en route to destination 1) we decided to “upgrade” to a driver for 12 days. Although a big expense relative to food/ accommodation we decided it was very reasonably priced and would provide many benefits (1. Ability to travel quickly and hence visit more places, 2. Ability to leave & arrive whenever suited us rather than depending on train/ bus time-tables, 3. Ability to stop at interesting places en route to key destinations, 4. Option to leave large rucksacks in car when we completed short hikes/ temple visits etc. 5. Not having to waste time on travel logistics – as we booked last minute and had not been organised on transport/ route planning! 6. Travelling in comfort and escaping heat with air conditioning). We were extremely happy with our decision to hire Wasi as a driver - he is interesting, kind, generous (i.e. he bought a delicious cake to celebrate my Birthday J / tissues for when I got sick K ), patient and funny – and we were genuinely really sad to say goodbye at the Airport as felt like we were leaving a friend.…
Travel with wasi, all the way is surprise and happy
The first time we went to Sri Lanka, there was some tension and discomfort when landing. We are full of vigilance and vigilance against unfamiliar environments and people. But our good friend Wasi made us feel the friendship and enthusiasm of the Sri Lankan people, and almost all the itineraries were arranged with his help. He will try his best to meet most of our requirements and will appear in time when we need him. This is a reliable friend and I hope his respect can be respected by you. Great tour guide and excellent driver
We traveled around Sri Lanka for two weeks and had the pleasure of having Wasi as our chauffeur. He helped us plan the trip in advance and also had great suggestions during our visit. Wasi is polite and charming. He always shows up on time and make you feel safe while driving in the Sri Lankan traffic. We highly recommend Wasi as a chauffeur and tour guide!
